Kisumu is the largest city in Kenya after Nairobi and Mombasa.It is also the sixth largest City in East Africa after Dar es Salaam,Tanzania ,Kampala Rwanda and Kigali,Rwanda.

The name Kisumu comes from the neighbouring tribes who called the Area meaning a place of food.
